I am very proud to be the Executive Headteacher at Nansen Primary, a school where we are proud to say that children are at the heart of all we do. Nansen has a fun, happy and vibrant atmosphere where our children thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment. We teach the ‘whole child’, ensuring they have a genuine thirst and love of learning.
We work in partnership with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure the success of our children. We believe that our children deserve the best possible chances in life and that they learn best when there are strong links between home and school.
We have a nurturing environment with quality teaching by inspirational teaching staff and provide individual pupil attention, which all lead to excellent academic progress.
We are a forward-thinking school which is sponsored and inspired by CORE Education Trust and their values. We build our approach to learning based on our collective commitment to these four values: Collaboration, Opportunity, Respect and Excellence. By embedding and implementing these values into everyday life, we are promoting an uncompromising curriculum focus on developing character and communication.
Our school motto, “Nurturing Tomorrow’s Explorers”, enables us to help children develop their self-belief and self-confidence and prepare for their future. We truly believe children can do anything with the right attitude and mindset.
In a rapidly changing world, Nansen offers pupils an excellent all-rounded education, whilst ensuring they experience a childhood they will cherish. We believe in providing our children with the cultural and social opportunities and experiences they need to achieve excellence. We pride ourselves on our ability to work together collaboratively to harness the power of team work, where the partnership between school and parents and carers is key to achieving a thorough understanding of each other’s differences in our aim to develop tolerance and respect for all.
