Message from Mrs Rindl – Ofsted: Good

Thursday 14th April 2016

Dear Parents

It’s official: Nansen is a Good School!

I am delighted to inform you that after our recent Full Ofsted Inspection, Nansen has been judged Good – a wonderful achievement that reflects all the hard work and dedication of so many people. This has been a real team effort, from the staff, governors and our sponsors CORE Education Trust, combined with your incredible support even through the darkest of days.

The children of this school deserve the very best and I am so proud of their achievements this year, they really have grasped the opportunities provided and embraced the school’s new vision and ethos. The children are our greatest ambassadors, and their quote in the report that “we are a family here” is key to all we do.

Both myself and our Chair of Governors, Bryony Flint, are delighted that the school is no longer in special measures and is now recognised as a Good school, but this is not the end of the school’s journey. We are all committed to continue working to maintain these standards and to build on the work that has been done so far

Please take time to read the enclosed report, very few schools in the country achieve a Good rating from the position of Special Measures.

It is time for a new chapter in the life of Nansen, one that looks forward together to a very bright future!

Yours sincerely

Mrs C Rindl
Very Proud Head Teacher!
