Pastoral Support

How we look after your child

Our carefully designed care system means we get to know every child in the school. This means we can encourage and reward their successes and help them through any problems which might affect their progress.

Our team of trained pastoral staff works with pupils and parents to provide this support in a safe environment. If a pupil experiences any difficulties, whether academic, personal or emotional, the pastoral team will give guidance and support.

Parents are welcome to come to the school to discuss any matter or difficulties that their child may experience. To do this, you simply need to make an appointment to see your child’s pastoral manager. If there are any problems that arise while your child is at Nansen Primary School, please tell the members of the pastoral team as soon as you can.

Please take a look at our Local Minimum offer and Accessibility Plan on how we support your child.

Our success at Nansen Primary School is based on strong student, parent and school partnerships. It has been at the forefront of our achievement. We will work with you to ensure all pupils leave Nansen Primary School ready to make positive contributions to their secondary schools.
